About Livingston County Court Records

Court records in Livingston County, Kentucky are split across the Circuit/District Court Clerk, the County Clerk, Kentucky court portals, the Sheriff's Department, the Jailer, and state-level agencies. This private reference site organizes those public record paths around the Livingston County Justice Center in Smithland, the County Clerk's legal and land records office, Kentucky Open Records Act access principles, and official state court search tools.

Why We Built This Site

Kentucky gives the public broad access to many public records through statutes such as KRS 61.870 and KRS 61.872, but finding the correct Livingston County office can still be confusing.
